****For Camporee Details: coming soon!
The only thing better than camping is tent camping with fellow Girl Scouts. Join Girl Scouts—young and old—for a large-scale camping celebration. Enjoy an opening ceremony, age-level kindred sessions, optional lawn and group games, a S.W.A.P. session, an evening bonfire with a singalong, sunrise yoga, and a farewell friendship circle. There will be downtime for troop or individually-planned programming.
This is a tent camping event, troops must bring their own tents. Troops or individuals must have attended Basic Troop Tent training or Sleep in/ Sleep out training before attending Camporee. An area will be designated for individually registered girls and their chaperones to camp together for camaraderie. Individually registered girls must attend with a female adult. Troops must have at least two female chaperones and remain in safety activity ratio for the continuation of the event. Carolina Camporee parents do not have to be registered GS adult members nor background checked. As long as your ratio is maintained, your adults can be additional coverage, as you see fit for your troop.
Sibilings and Tag alongs: All additional children coming with the family must be in Kindergarten or older.
Food: Menu provided one month out. Troops that choose to provide their own meals will need to use propane stoves (no individual campfires).
All Girl Scout COVID Guidelines including social distancing and masks will be adhered to.
