It’s our planet and we will do our part to protect it! Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts will learn about the environment and focus on using resources wisely and making the world a better place! Girls will have the opportunity to hike, play games, and learn from experts on conservation. Take part in activity sessions that rotate around camp in small groups. Some stations will include activities from the Environmental Stewardship badge series: Eco Learner, Eco Friend, and Eco Camper. Girls will receive the Back in the Woods event patch. *This is a one day event. Please select either Saturday or Sunday to attend.*
All girls and adults will be required to wear a face mask throughout the day and social distance, when able. Proper hand sanitation will be encouraged around camp through accessible bathrooms and hand sanitizer. While we encourage parent participation, we request that the minimum Safety Activity Checkpoint girl to adult ratio be met (2 unrelated adults per specific number for age level) . Individual girls must have an accompanying adult to stay the entire program. To correctly and efficently assign groups, please have the correct troop number when checking out. Troops may or may not be split depending on number registered.
Participants will bring a bag lunch and reuseable waterbottle. There will be designated picnic spots for all groups in attendance. Water jugs to refill bottles will be placed around camp at activity locations.
