Girl Scouts make the world a better place. Be a change-maker. The non-partisan Social Justice Summit seeks to equip girls with the tools needed to engage in healthy dialogue, research topics, and find their voice regarding the social issues that are impacting our communities today. We will exchange knowledge about social justice through keynote speakers, panel discussions, break-out sessions and individual thought provoking activities. Topics include gender and race equality, environmental impact, health care, education, world hunger, civic engagement, and immigration and the intersectionality between them —to name a few. Guided by leaders in the community and social justice advocates from across the country, our girls will have the opportunity of a lifetime to engage in discussion, learn more about themselves and the world around them, and begin formulating strategies for implementing social change. This bold and unique event will be open to Cadettes through Seniors as well as all Girl Scout volunteers. This is a Girls Only (drop off) event. Box lunches will be provided for each participant.
All Girl Scout COVID Guidelines including social distancing and masks will be adhered to.
